I’ve been searching for the right way to break this news to you; but for the first time in my life, I’m at a loss for words. You may not have known this, but I made a solemn promise long ago that I would strive to never disappoint you. And for the most part I’ve succeeded. But then this happened…

For the past few days, I’ve been secretly engaging in an act that I know you wouldn’t approve of. And instead of you hearing it from someone else, I figured you should hear it from me first. As hard as this is for me to admit, I pray that you will continue to stand by my side, and help me make it through this stormy period in my life. I guess the only thing that’s left now is for me to just come out and say it…(sigh)

There I said it. I hope you can look past this flaw, and continue to love me. As much as we’ve been through, I don’t think this one thing (although it’s a really big thing) should change things between us.
