Jill Scott is back, and I have to say that I’m thoroughly enjoying her new album. There was one song in particular that stuck out to me though. On the track “My Love,” Scott deals with a former love that has moved on to someone new. Even though the guy seems happy, she knows in her heart that no one will ever be able to make him as happy as her. Now how many of us have ever felt that way? I have even found myself being guilty of that very same offense. It’s a natural emotion…one that Scott is able to describe beautifully. So check out, “My Love,” this week’s Fly Lyrics Feature.
