I’m back with another edition of Audio Love. This week, Anthony Hamilton and Jamie Foxx make impressive entrances onto our Fly List, while Brandy gets a much deserved encore. The lyrics and passion emoted through each song deserves a priority placement in your weekend love song rotation. Enjoy.

What would you say if I told you that I made a mistake? And how would you feel if I confessed that our time apart has made me realize that I love you in a way that could never be replicated or surpassed? Would you shut me out, and refuse to hear anything that I had to say? Or would you allow me the opportunity to lay my cards out on the table and express a deep-seated remorse for walking away from what we had?

Listen, I know I messed up. And I know it feels like I gave up on us. But I honestly thought I was being the bigger man by admitting that I wasn’t ready to settle down. I was wrong though. And I can now see that it’s going to take an even bigger effort on my part to receive an opportunity to make things right between us.

Believe me; I understand that you don’t owe me anything. But if I could just get another chance, then I promise that I would love you freely, openly, and completely. That’s my solemn vow to you.

You don’t have to give me answer right now. Just think on it. And if you can honestly tell me that you don’t love me anymore, then I’ll accept that and quietly walk away. But I think we still know how things are and should be between us. I’ll be patiently waiting. Let me make this right.

Let’s face it. When a relationship falls apart, that’s not a phrase that is said very much. Oftentimes, it’s easier to blame the other person for the love growing cold.
