So I have to admit that I found myself in an interesting situation a few days ago. I was spending some quality time with a potential … (potential what, I’m not sure of yet) … but anyway, we were spending time together, and she asked me to play some music to “set the mood.” Now, I’m normally a regular Kid Capri when it comes to creating the perfect music mix. But for some reason, I was off my game that night. Every song that I played felt wrong, and I began to feel as though my choices were in danger of ruining the night. Luckily, I was able to call my boy Lil Jon who stepped in to give me the perfect advice. Who would have ever thought it was possible? The Fly Guy getting love advice from Lil Jon. Go figure.

Many have asked where I’ve been over the last month or so, and I figured I owed you all an explanation. But instead of whipping up some fancily written justification, I decided to do it face-to-face with a morning video. I hope you accept my apology, and if you don’t … then … well … ummm … I’m not sure what to tell you. So check it out, and if you have any questions, give me a shout. I recently hung out with actor/comedian Marlon Wayans in Los Angeles, as we worked to produce a cover shoot for Rolling Out Magazine (visit here). Towards the end of our time, we got a chance to jump into my favorite topic, love and relationships. When we first sat down, our discussion centered around my 5 Reasons To Admit You Cheated (Read here.) But soon, we veered off into what continues to be one of the world’s most talked about stories … Tiger Woods.

I didn’t want to be the person to make this announcement, but it needs to be addressed … today. By now, I’m sure you’ve either seen or read about the recent “Dateline” special which detailed the alarming number of black women that have never been married. What the report failed to mention was a spiking trend among some women that discourages men from pursuing them.

Never fear though … I’ve officially set the record straight in my latest Fly Guy PSA.

We’ve all been there before, right? It’s a place that’s annoying, frustrating, and downright tiring. But it’s time to put an end to that with this new Fly Guy PSA. Now all you have to do is play them this video … they’ll get the point.

The year 2010 is more than just the start of a new decade. It also marks the beginning of a new era in love advice. For so long, I’ve patiently waited on the sidelines for my time to shine … well, that time is now. And if you still don’t understand the Fly Guy takeover that’s about to take place, then maybe this video will help.
