Do You Believe In Unconditional Love?

Oct 13th, 2009 | By admin | Category: Fly Foolishness

I’m a fan of unconditional love … that’s just the way I choose to look at life. While others may hand you a long list of reasons to leave someone when they’re struggling with an issue (drug abuse, poverty, bad breath, being short) I say stand by them and help them overcome it.

The Civil War Between Black Men Rages On

Oct 7th, 2009 | By admin | Category: Fly Foolishness

I received an email this morning that I wanted to share with the group. Now I’m not going to really add too much of my own opinion here as the letter and video pretty much say it all… OK, I’m lying. The real reason that I’m not saying anything is because I’m too busy laughing.

She Never Had A Chance

Aug 17th, 2009 | By admin | Category: Fly Foolishness

I’m of the sincere belief that some children never had a chance from birth … and it’s all a product of bad parenting. So when a former love cheated on me, and then went on to do the same to every other dude, I could look back on the dysfunction in her childhood and see that she was never around healthy relationships (That didn’t excuse her actions, but still.)

Is This How Nas Gives Kelis Money?

Aug 13th, 2009 | By admin | Category: Fly Foolishness

My brother sent me this video clip of a guy in church who took the whole “God loves a cheerful giver” expression to a whole new level. I wonder if Nas is this happy when he’s writing those $55,000 checks to Kelis. (Ok, that was a low blow.)

I Can’t Lie … You Kind Of Embarrass Me

Aug 5th, 2009 | By admin | Category: Fly Foolishness

I was watching this episode of “Martin” that made me question my ability to love someone unconditionally. In this episode, Martin was headed to his 10-year high school reunion, and after a few minor setbacks during her preparation, Gina became … well, busted.

F*ck Him, F*ck Her … Let's Laugh

Jul 29th, 2009 | By admin | Category: Fly Foolishness

F*ck her? F*ck him? Honestly that’s how some of you feel right now about that “special” person in your life. But instead of me giving you words of wisdom (especially since you’re not trying to hear it right now), I thought it’d be better if we shared a laugh instead.

She Won't Act Right … So I'm Leaving

Jul 23rd, 2009 | By admin | Category: Fly Foolishness

When we first met, I immediately knew that you would always be an important part of life. But now … I’m not so sure. Your behavior lately is such that I no longer know who you are. Are you the same woman that I initially fell in love with?
