Is It Ok To Have A Back Up Plan?

So I’m sitting at dinner last night with a woman who to me was brimming with potential. She was smart, successful, driven, funny, and incredibly beautiful. She even possessed those character traits that I prefer, but aren’t necessarily deal breakers: she liked to travel, was knowledgeable about sports, and even preferred using Lever 2000 over other soap brands.

Danity Kane on Fly Guy TV

The women of Danity Kane recently stopped by Fly Guy TV to discuss love and relationships, and boy did they have a lot to say on the subject. So make sure you check out this exclusive interview where the “Making the Band” stars share with the Fly Guy everything from how men approach them, to the perfect way to heal from a broken heart.

She Doesn’t Love Me Anymore

They say it’s hard to make long distance relationships work, but who really cares what “they” say. In my heart, I was so convinced that she was the one for me. So it didn’t matter what anyone else had to say. When it was time for her to move away, I made a solemn vow before her and God that I would give my all to make our relationship work.

The Single Mother Blues

Dear Fly Guy…I’m almost at the point where I feel like giving up on dating all together and becoming celibate. I’m a single mother and I have my life together. I have no drama with my daughter’s father being that he is not an active part of her life. I just find it so frustrating trying to find a guy that isn’t a creepy loser to just DATE, not shack up with. Any advice? Like a dating manual for the single mother with a good head on her shoulders?

Strictly For The Ladies

A friend just text me this quote of the day, and I immediately knew that the women of this site would appreciate it. To the men that frequent Fly Guy Land on the regular, don’t worry; our day is coming. But today belongs to our beautiful women. So ladies, kick back and get your Labor Day weekend off on the right foot with this quote of the day.

The First Time I Fell In Love

In yesterday’s column, we discussed the lofty ideals of love in the piece “This Is What She Wants.” Judging by your comments, I could tell that many of you felt my friend’s desires for love were overly optimistic … too perfect. Some even said that it reminded them of being 15, or experiencing puppy love.

This Is What She Wants

A close friend just sent me an email that I wanted to share with you. What initially began as careless scribbles on her notepad, ended up as a beautiful expression of one woman’s wants and desires … not from Mr. Right, but from love in general. I’m sure more than a few men and women can relate to her thoughts. I look forward to reading your feedback

Ice Cube Talks Love

Ice Cube recently stopped by Fly Guy TV to talk love and relationships. No stone was left unturned as the entertainment mogul discussed the change in women once he became famous, and how he considered himself blessed to find his soul mate early on.

Can A Man Really Express Heartbreak?

There was no mistaking the words pumping out of my speakers. These were the distinctive sounds of a man experiencing a foreign emotion. Heartbreak. “She said that she would be with me forever,” he lamented. “She said I’m in love with you. She said now baby don’t forget … that no one’s going to love you more than I do.”

Letters To The Fly Guy

I finally touched back down in Atlanta after some time in Los Angeles, and figured there was no time like the present to answer some letters from my mailbag.
