By now, you’ve either seen or heard about the 52nd edition of the Grammy Awards. Don’t worry though, this piece isn’t designed to relive any of those moments as I’m sure you’ve had your fill. Instead, I wanted to focus on the song that won the award for “Best Female Pop Vocal.” The song was Beyonce’s “Halo,” and I have to admit that I’ve gained a newfound appreciation for it.

I’m pretty sure that I want to respond to this video … but I really don’t know what to say. Maybe I’ll have the words constructed by the time you finish watching it. For now though, I’ll remain speechless.

It’s time to revisit last week’s scenario: You just woke up and found yourself in bed with someone other than your significant other. Having realized the gravity of your mistake, you now find yourself at a defining moral crossroad. Should you come clean and admit your indiscretion? Or should you keep it to yourself in hopes that the truth is never revealed.

Dear Fly Guy, As I write this letter, I’m one step away from completely giving up on love. I’m not sure what I hope to get out of writing this, but here I am just writing away. My problem is that I really don’t understand why I always end up meeting men who never want to be serious.

During my time as The Fly Guy, I’ve been fortunate enough to learn many invaluable lessons. The most important of which is this: People don’t always want love advice. Sometimes, they just want to be left to their feelings. This typically happens during a painful breakup. And while kind words and deeds occasionally help, there’s only so many times that a person wants to hear, “everything will be ok.”

Hey Fly Guy, I have more of a comment than a question. I just don’t understand why some women think that men want to settle down with someone who acts like a bitch? Who started that rumor, because it’s completely wrong.

I had a dream last night that a close family member passed away. The imagery was so vivid that my heart literally ached for hours after I woke up. It was almost as if my body actually believed the death had occurred. As I pulled myself out of the bed, I began to reflect on how precious life truly is, and how every moment that passes is one that will never be regained.

Here’s the scenario: You woke up this morning lying next to someone other than your significant other. Now your first thoughts were probably somewhere along the lines of: “F@*K!!!! … What am I doing here??? And how did my underwear get stuck in the ceiling fan???” (Hey, it happens.)

It’s Friday, and that means it’s time to create an air of love, passion and understanding to officially kick start our weekend. How do we do that? Simple. By creating a group playlist that expresses the joyous highs of love. Easy enough, right? I’ll start it off, and as you submit songs, I’ll add them to the playlist throughout the day.
