Sometimes You Must Embrace Change

Dear Fly Guy,
I have to say that I’m quite disappointed in you and your extended absence. I used to look forward to your daily love advice, and now I’ve been forced to listen to a bunch of people that have no idea what they’re talking about. Why did you leave us Fly Guy? We needed you.
Lost Hope
Dear Lost Hope,
I apologize for leaving you and the rest of my readers without first providing an explanation. If I could do it all over again, I’d probably change a few things … namely sharing that small bit of information with you.
But would I take back walking away from this column to pursue other goals? Absolutely not. I’ve come to understand–both in life and in love–that it’s important to embrace life’s changing seasons. For me, that was writing a book. For you, it may be turning the page on a bad relationship, or going back to school. Whatever it may be, one must never be afraid to step out of their comfort zone to accept change.
Truth be told, you probably did just fine without my advice. Besides, there’s someone that I’d much rather you listen to than me … your heart. Best of luck.
