If there’s one thing that my faith has taught me, it’s the importance of trust—even when there’s nothing tangible to visibly support that level of trust. Let me give you an example: I’ve never physically seen God face-to-face, but I know that He exists; I know that He lives within me; and I’m a firm believer in His word. That’s a belief that can’t be deterred, changed or altered in any way.

Webster defines heartbreak as “great sorrow, grief, or anguish.” But in my life, I define heartbreak as the one singular event capable of bringing any man to his knees. More harmful than any cut, scrape or bruise could ever be, the damage that’s inflicted by a broken heart should never be underestimated.

I’ll be the first one to admit that the art of flirting is tough … in fact, the only thing that may prove to be more difficult is the development of an anti-shine formula for Jermaine Jackson’s forehead (now that might be downright impossible.) But Jermaine’s glisten aside, I do find that most men have trouble establishing the proper approach when it comes to flirting.

Dear Future Wife, I know that we haven’t met yet, but I still pray that all is well with you. In it, the writer, Dr. Louann Brizendine, discusses the makeup of a man’s brain, and why we (men) can’t help doing the things that we do … like staring at breasts and butts.

Dear Fly Guy, I have a situation. Here goes: I have genital herpes, and have had it for the last 13 years. I am on daily suppression medication and go to regular doctor visits. I contracted it from my live-in boyfriend via oral; he had a cold sore on his lip, performed oral on me and presto!

I’m not a fan of divorce—and I probably never will be. But I have to admit that I found a small bit of joy after reading the following divorce letter.
