Maximizing The Moments Of Life

I had a dream last night that a close family member passed away. The imagery was so vivid that my heart literally ached for hours after I woke up. It was almost as if my body actually believed the death had occurred. As I pulled myself out of the bed, I began to reflect on how precious life truly is, and how every moment that passes is one that will never be regained. Now at this point, I’m sure you’re expecting me to use this dream as an opportunity to stress the importance of spending time with your significant other.

Actually, it’s the exact opposite.

For many of you, the idea of change or being alone is frightening … so much so that you lock yourself into toxic relationships, choosing unhappiness over the idea of being alone.

But that mindset has to stop … today.

Precious life moments shouldn’t be wasted on people who have no place in your life. (Fly Note: If you’re happily in love, then this message isn’t intended for you.) There are some, however, currently feeling a tremendous tug at their hearts as they read this message. If that’s you, then I implore you to stop wasting precious moments on people that don’t deserve them.

Living life to the fullest is more than just focusing on those you should reconnect with. It also has a great deal to do with understanding who you should eliminate from your life as well.

So today, I ask you to stop living in fear. Live with the understanding that fear is a mind conqueror, and the pain of being alone is only temporary.

Reclaim your life and begin to make the most of it. That starts by devoting those life moments only to the people that deserve them.
