“What do you want in a woman?”
I knew the question was coming, and I still wasn’t prepared to answer it. It just felt like no matter what my response, I’d be trapped in an impossible, no-win situation. I mean, how does one really describe what they “want” in a person? Doesn’t that change over time? Well, that may be the case, but she was still expecting an answer…
“That’s a good question,” I began while rubbing my furrowed brow. “It’s really hard to say, because every woman in my life has been so different. Some were tall, while some were short … some were light-skinned, while others were dark … and some were smart, while the rest had trouble spelling their own name. So it really just depends on the woman.”
After the last of my words had dissipated in the air, the room was filled with an uncomfortable silence. “Why do you always think that you can smooth talk your way out of answering a question,” she replied in a frustrated, hushed toned. “I just want to know if I’m your type.”
So that was her angle … Well I definitely wasn’t prepared to go down that road, so I decided to answer in my own special way.
“How about this,” I began. “I have a video for you to watch that should explain in detail the type of women that I typically stay away from. If you’re nothing like them, then who knows what may happen between us.”
She sighed, but eventually gave in and watched the video. Crisis averted … at least for now.

I can’t lie, I like my woman a little rough around the edges, but damn. These chicks are mad hood.
Just WOW…is this video real or is this a parody? I am asking seriously, because I honestly couldn’t tell. Also, the man/woman rapping on the second verse, seriously, was that a man or was she just butch? I got confused because he/she looks like a man, but was calling him/herself a hood bitch. Was this a real video or something that was just uploaded to YouTube? God, I seriously grieve for these type of people because they have no idea about the true purpose of life. I pray they are not parents!

Seems as if I may run the poor guy away with this one…we haven’t been dating long enough, and i’m the one who stated I only wanted to be great friends…But Fly guy… you still have to answer her question…LOL I can’t wait to read your response…you can’t avoid it… especially after this video. lol

I have been raised very well by my mother But looking at my sister u would think we had 2 different upbringing. she is the ‘hood’ chick & I’m the good one. Its ALWAYS been this way & its no different with men. She has always dated rough ,ghetto men who kno nothing that isn’t BET or gang or rap related. Men I wouldn’t give the time of DAY to! I don’t like hood men Not because of some stereotype but I refuse to be involved with some1 who glorifies a lifestyle I don’t practice Myself.like fly said if it floats ur bost God Bless ,but No hood boys or “goons” as the intellectual Plies says, R getting a access granted from me….PASS!

Gentlemen please believe that all women who live in the hood do not act like this and never classify all women in the hood of this caliber. WOW!! How come Hood Women look so old? I know I am old enough to be some of those women mama and I don’t look as old or as hard as them (I refuse to call them the B word). I live in the hood but I am not gonna act like that. I only live in the hood because at this time it is what I can afford. But you know I am really afraid for these women if this is what they classify themselves as.

dude, when I saw that it was done. I didn’t even mention the part when she leaned over to give the dude head. I was like “wait…aren’t you the featured rapper? Why are you doing that?”

umm…really? there’s so much i want to say but can’t even begin to articulate. how do we save these types? i try my best to not bash my own race but things like this are disgusting and all too commonplace. are there “hood bitches” in canada? if not, i need to move asap!
Sad part is, I’ve actually met women that resembled the ones in the video.
Definitely wasn’t trying to get at any of them, though….but as a result….that’s why I’d like to meet a woman with class and dignity. Two traits a lot of women in the military seem to be lacking, from what I’ve come across so far.

I thought the same thing. And to make matters worse, there aren’t many American women to choose from over here in Korea…..and even fewer Black women, as a result.
