It's a big thing for someone to accept the responsibility of the destruction of a relationship because it's such a selfless act. As individuals we never want to be the bad guy or the one that is to blame for why it didn't work so we continue to point out the other person's flaws to make it all seem ok or to justify our actions. Many people leave relationships damaged, discouraged, and doubtful and many times it carries on to future relationships. If we could all step up like this then maybe more pretty wings will be able to take off in a new and positive direction. Even though the words hurt a little bit it was well said.
