Dream Women Do Exist

I woke up this morning feeling an overwhelming sense of contentment. What’s interesting is that I honestly had no idea where it was coming from.

Was I glad to be seeing another day?
Was I satisfied that my career as a writer was finally taking off?
Or maybe I was just reveling in the joys of having a family that supported my hustle?

I couldn’t put my finger on it. But as I continued to lay there, I realized that it was none of the above…

It was you.

From our first encounter, I understood that you had a unique purpose in my life. God had allowed our paths to cross to serve as a gentle reminder that real women do exist in this world. I had become so disenchanted by my constant run-ins with women that were beautiful, but who severely lacked any style, grace or substance. But that wasn’t you…

You’ve been a revelation. And in the process of getting to know you, you’ve somehow managed to redefine my understanding of a dream woman.

So even if it’s not meant for us to ever be, I still remain thankful for the reminder that dream women can and do exist. So keep being you … keep working hard … and never let the world discourage you from pursuing your passion.

I guess all that’s left for me to say now is thank you … thank you for reminding me that dream women do exist.

    of course dream women are out there, I’ve had one or two in my young life, they just usually end up fulfilling another mans dreams because I refuse to cuff a chick, lol.

    This piece was absolutely beautiful. If my boyfriend wrote something to me that expressed his feelings about our relationship (which he also gives me the pleasure of TELLING me, which is particularly appreciated by any woman), I feel like this would be it. Anyone man who has experienced love for what it TRULY is knows that feeling very well, and it’s so wonderful to see it displayed here.

    I still practice chivalry.

    I have a hard time finding women that actually WANT that in a man, though. Don’t believe me? Look at who women generally fall head over heels for…..usually the same knuckleheaded poor excuses for men that can’t even walk on the side of the sidewalk closest to the curb, for Pete’s sake….lol

    I love it! but fly guy, question?..I try my best to be a good/dream woman, i’m the type of a woman who believes in submiting to my man, I’m a model, I’m a good christian woman..yet i find that many of the men that i’ve come across dosent appriciate it and take advantage and play me…but then guys will turn around and complain about the woman theyre w/ but yet i’m right there and they bypass me..why is that?
