Don't Take Advice From Everyone

I ran across this video of Karrine Steffans promoting her new book “The Vixen Manual: How to Find, Seduce and Keep the Man You Want.” During the interview, Steffans contends that she’s the best person to provide love advice to women since she’s seen and done it all. Here’s my take…

While I will agree that experience is the best teacher, I never want you to take advice from someone unless their intentions are sincere. If you don’t believe the person has your best interests at heart, then that’s the last person you should be receiving counsel from.

It’s just that simple.

So am I saying that Karrine is insincere in her attempts to help you experience a better love life? Do I believe that she’s only trying to pimp the system to make money? Well, that’s not for me to say. All I want you to understand –and I’m sure she’d say the same thing—is that you can’t take advice from everyone.

Are we on the same page?

    That’s pretty funny…that’s hella funny actually.

    But I’m not out to get her. I just want people to watch who they listen to. Who knows, maybe her intentions are sincere. The facts say otherwise, but you never know.

    Wow..what is crazy is I actually believe she has good intentions..I dont know why but I feel like she wants young girls to learn from her experiences (which she has said over and over). I do believe that she has changed, and to fault her for getting paid for her it, just isn’t right. We would have to point the finger at many others who are out there doing the same thing.

    Look i’m not judging but i’d have to ask myself—would i want my daughter accepting advice from her?? Hell no.

    She is a joke! I don’t think she has good intentions at all, she is trying to get her money up, I can’t blame her for that though! But she can’t teach me or anyone else anything besides how to be a jump off! MESSAGE TO KARRINE: I will PASS on the advice sweetie!

    Just like the saying goes…you can’t turn a h*e into a housewife….so how the hell does a h*e get to teach anyone how to BE a housewife?

    I hope y’all ladies aren’t taking any advice from her.

    I don’t think she qualified to give relationship advice but she is qualified to give advice on how to be the side hoe..or how to be with a married man..a gold-digger..but i’ve always said that i won’t get advice from a single bitter person when i’m in a relationship why get advice for someone who can’t relate to what you’re going through..
