I read this and it reminds me of my ex. He too has broken many hearts (including mine) and he's also now making an appeal to another young lady. This reminds me of him mainly because now he's changing and trying to be something better that what he is. Only thing is...I have to sit back and watch him make the changes I asked him to make for someone else. I’ve been a faithful reader here for about 5 months or so, but this is the first time I’ve commented.

And my vote was, yes, a person can change but I need a lot of convincing before I believe it. Anything less, in my opinion, is being naive and gullible.
