Fly Inspiration: Be Patient

I woke up this morning feeling optimistic, not only about my future … but about yours as well. There is someone out there in serious transition when it comes to his or her personal life. So when I read my morning inspiration, I instantly thought about you and wanted to share. Before reading, remember this: no matter how tempting it may be to try to speed up life, you must remain patient and let things happen at the pace they are supposed to. Whether it’s getting over a broken heart, or wanting to be married, the worst thing that you can do is be over anxious. That alone will force you to make hasty and unwise decisions. Trust me: I’ve done that enough for us all, and it rarely works out.
Though we may never meet, I love you all, and want you to experience nothing but peace and prosperity within your personal and professional lives. I hope that the following provides you as much comfort and encouragement as it did for me. Enjoy your day.
SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — April 8, 2009:
You are in a transitional period of time and sequence, and the disappointments that you have endured have to do with being ready to forge ahead at an accelerated pace. I have gone before you to prepare the way, but everything must be done in order and in the flow of My Spirit. Now is the time to come into rest, silence your flesh, and trust Me to bring you forth in the right season and at the perfect moment. I am not tardy concerning My promises, says the Lord, everything will come to completion in the process of time.
1 Corinthians 14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order.

*tears of thankfulness*, THANK YOU FLY GUY.
you’re very welcome. I really hope it helps.
Good post! Is that you in the pic?
@CosmopolitanChic,
No, that’s not me. It’s just a stock photo. I have pics of me on my about page.
Nice!
Nice piece FG!
Thanks Fly Guy, I definitely needed to hear that. My impatience is one of my most dangerous flaws. I will keep this in mind.
We are on the same page Fly Guy, I posted the same this morning on my my facebook! Love It!
Great piece, FG! Thanks for sharing! I think we all need to stop and remember that from time to time, especially when things aren’t going our way. Our time will come, and we must always remember God has a plan for us, and there’s a reason things are on the speed they are on. In retrospect I’ve always looked back on times where I felt like things weren’t moving as they should and feel grateful that life did coast on the speed it did – for there were always life lessons I learned during that time that prepared me for what eventually came my way.
Thank you. I got chills….
ARGHHHH!!!! I am not a patient person. It was one of the fruit of the spirit that I wisely decided not to pray for, and yet EVERYWHERE I go I get slapped in the face with “Be Patient.”
But it is a good message FG.
