Dear You,
It wasn’t supposed to be this way. After our first encounter, I intended to place you in a box along with everyone else. It was the one place where I could escape the gravitational pull of your heart. But somehow, you escaped; and in those few, fleeting moments of freedom you managed to capture my heart.
Now I can’t get enough of you…
The very thought of you excites me … and the idea of you and I together leaves me anxiously anticipating the next chapter of my life.
How will it all unfold?
Only time will tell. In the meantime, all I can do is focus on the here and now, and the things that I do know. I know that I’m a man who understands what an absolute treasure you are. I’m also a man prepared to do whatever it takes to make you happy.
Perhaps more importantly though, I know who you are …
You are hope actualized …
You are patience personified …
You are love realized …
But most of all, you are my Valentine … today, tomorrow, and for as long as you will have me.
