The Past Still Haunts Me

Feb 28th, 2009 | By admin | Category: Fly Letters

Dear Fly Guy, When I was 12 years old, I was molested by two family members. I have since forgiven them, but I think it has affected the way I let men treat me. I dealt with a lot of mental abuse growing up from my father, and was scarred by the way he treated my mom.

Falling In Love With Me

Feb 26th, 2009 | By admin | Category: Fly Features

Guest feature. Sometimes, we lose ourselves. We forget who we really are and what we really are about inside. We tend to love our children, our friends, our men/women 100% and totally forget about loving ourselves. I know … because I have been right there. I have given 100% of ME to my children, my friends and when I have a man, to him as well.

Kiss And Make Up

Feb 25th, 2009 | By admin | Category: Fly Lyrics

I made a mistake … But my mistake is not what you believe it to be. Listen, we both have our own perspectives on who was right, and who was wrong. I understand that, so I’m not here to try and change your mind. I just … (sigh) … well I should have never walked out and given up on us. Our bond is far greater than any disagreement or misunderstanding that we could ever have.

She Doesn't Like Talking To Me

Feb 24th, 2009 | By admin | Category: Fly Letters

Dear Fly Guy, I really have deep emotions for this one female. She makes me so happy, but man, when we talk on the phone, she always says ‘I will call you right back.’ I think it’s because when I get on the phone, I have nothing to talk about. It makes me mad, because when I’m with her, I talk nonstop. I just need to know how to spice up the conversation or keep her interested on the phone for at least an hour. What should I do? Thanks.

What Men Want – What Women Want

Feb 23rd, 2009 | By admin | Category: Fly Features

I was recently approached by a reader (Tonya622) who wanted to share her personal views on what both men and women want as it pertains to love and relationships. Now I normally turn down guest features, but it turns out that Tonya622 happened to be a really good writer. How could I say no to that? So check out her perspective below, and let me know your thoughts.

I Want To Date A Friend of My Ex

Feb 18th, 2009 | By admin | Category: Fly Perspectives

She excites me … She intrigues me … And the things that I want to do to her behind closed doors are probably illegal in 27 states, Puerto Rico and maybe American Samoa (Actually, let me get back to you on American Samoa.) There’s just one problem though … She’s friends with my ex girlfriend.

A Prisoner Of My Dating Flaws

Feb 17th, 2009 | By admin | Category: Fly Perspectives

1 … 2 … 3 … 4 … Four relationships down the drain, and somehow it was always their fault—at least that’s what I kept telling myself. It wasn’t until I bumped into an ex a couple of days ago, that my false reality came crashing down.

My Love Letter To You

Feb 14th, 2009 | By admin | Category: Fly Perspectives

It wasn’t supposed to be this way. After our first encounter, I intended to place you in a box along with everyone else. It was the one place where I could escape the gravitational pull of your heart. But somehow, you escaped; and in those few, fleeting moments of freedom you managed to capture my heart.
