I’m not sure when you’re going to read this. But whenever your eyes meet the words currently pouring from my heart, my sincerest hope is that you feel the passion by which they were written. There is but so many ways that I can verbalize how much I love you … and God knows that I’ve tried them all. But in the perfect stillness of this moment, I can’t help but feel that I could somehow say or do something greater—perhaps something more profound to articulate the full extent of my love.

I’ve never been considered a selfish man. But last night — in the still darkness of my room — I fell to my knees and lifted my head to the heavens praying for a life that always included you.

You see, it doesn’t matter who I meet, or where my life might take me. I just know that I will never be fulfilled unless I have you by side. I won’t even stand before you and say that you’re all that I’ve ever hoped for … because honestly, I had no idea that love could ever be this good.
