According to the Relationships Executive Board, the rule that states you are not supposed to call a person whose phone number you just obtained on the same day. ‘They’ (notice I put ‘they’ in quotation marks) believe that calling a newfound interest too soon shows desperation on the caller’s part.

By the way, there is no such thing as the Relationship Executive Board, and if there was, it’s probably headed by a bunch of single schmucks who think they got the game mastered. LOL!

But seriously…..if I go through all the trials and tribulations it takes to approach a woman, hope she’s interested in me, lay down my mack game (OK, it’s not really ‘macking’, but you get the drift) and hope for the best…..and today’s my lucky day and I get her phone number….you BEST BELIEVE she’ll be getting a call from me SOONER rather than later. I’m a grown-ass man….I don’t have time for unwritten rules made by people who have made a lifestyle out of playing hard-to-get.

And yes…..Rejection sucks like Superhead.

On Subject: i actually like asking a Man out every once in a while. it lets me see what they go threw in the process of asking me out. Rejection is ok it hurts but i mean it happends and once you get the conversation rolling you build this confidence that is outta this world(Maybe i should speak for my self
) but as to everyone should pant themselves on the back after getting someones number and going forth to call.

i have a Question for FG and as well to everyone else who wants to answer but ….Why do people wait a few days is to call instead of maybe later on that evening or the next day when that person runs across you mind ???

I’m late as hell reading this one but I def don’t see a prb with asking a guy out AND playing a subtle agressive role does work when you couple it with shy cuteness.

naw shorty, I don’t fudge. So if I don’t do it, you can’t do it. Disclaimer: this only applied to lying about physical appearance. There are certain things that I do that I don’t want my man doing (like pouting and batting eyelashes); and vice versa.

And 6ft is the magical height for me not because i just picked it out of the air, but at my height, with heels (and I love heels) a 6foot man is just barely taller than me. I would go higher, but the only tall guys that have been interested in me were athletes who took one look at my athletic frame and decided that we’d breed athletic children to continue their athletic dominance. Not exactly romantic.

@ Chelsea:

Whatever. We don’t look good in everything, and you don’t know the horrors of finding pants that are long enough w/o extra crotch space. Looking like you have “something extra” down there is not what I’m aiming for, if ya know what I mean.

And, I reserve my right to hate on short women because they get what I want. Trust and believe if a majority of men who approached me were tall, I could care less about y’all midgies with tower-like SOs.

pbbbtt…y’all do that anyway. Which, I believe, gives a guy license to fudge a lil bit about his height. Its funny to me how many women peg 6′ as that magic height. Especially the ones like cheese that are barely over 5′ as it is.
