Love Me Despite This Flaw

I’ve been searching for the right way to break this news to you; but for the first time in my life, I’m at a loss for words. You may not have known this, but I made a solemn promise long ago that I would strive to never disappoint you. And for the most part I’ve succeeded. But then this happened…

For the past few days, I’ve been secretly engaging in an act that I know you wouldn’t approve of. And instead of you hearing it from someone else, I figured you should hear it from me first. As hard as this is for me to admit, I pray that you will continue to stand by my side, and help me make it through this stormy period in my life. I guess the only thing that’s left now is for me to just come out and say it…(sigh)

“New Kids on the Block’s new song “Single” ft. Ne-Yo is currently in heavy rotation on my iPod.”

There I said it. I hope you can look past this flaw, and continue to love me. As much as we’ve been through, I don’t think this one thing (although it’s a really big thing) should change things between us. While you contemplate your next move, at least listen to the song for yourself and let me know what you think.

May God have mercy on my soul.

    Oh, you got me on this one! I was totally wondering what you possibly could’ve done!

    I used to be a huge NKOTB fan back in the day, I admit. But looking back, I’m not sure why! This song, however, ain’t bad. You got that. It’s all Ne-Yo’s doing… I don’t give them credit. Did you hear their solo endeavors from a few years back? Not so good.
