I'm always checking for them :). But I love myself because I am strong. I'm loving. I'm giving, caring and am a damn good friend. I have a big heart with lots of love to give. I love me because I "man up" (even though i'm a woman) and take care of my son on my own. I love me because i overcome no matter what. I get down but always manage to pick myself back up. I go for what I want. I'm a fighter. I don't stop. I don't take no for an answer. When there's no way I make a way. I love me for a lot of reasons. I could go on and on. After going through a divorce I have spent the last two years literally falling in love with myself. Sometimes when you are a part of a "we" you spend all your time appreciating the fact that your a couple and you lose sight of how remarkable you are as an individual. I can honestly say I love my creativity. I love that I am so passionate about my work that I go to sleep thinking of ways to put my clients on top of the world. I love the fact that I am the type of person that will always treat others fairly, even if that often results in me being taken advantage of. I have begun learning to love things about myself that I never saw before, my eyes, my smile, my brown skin tone, my curves. :-) I think we women spend so much time picking things out we don't like about ourselves that we feel guilty celebrating things that we do like. I am learning not to do that. Thanks Fly Guy for giving me a reason to reiterate these things to myself 2day. This is a great excercise.
