So I recently went on this date, and things were pretty cool. She was beautiful, smart, funny; basically all of the things you’d initially hope for when getting to know someone. As the evening progressed, things kind of went south … but admittedly, it was my fault. Check out what happened, and learn this valuable Fly Guy dating tip, so it never happens to you.

It’s hard to recover from bad breath. Unfortunately, I may always associate that guy with bad breath, and if I do go on an additional date with him, I’ll be hesitant about kissing. I’m always conscious about my breath and teeth. Consistently and discreetly licking my teeth during dinner to check for stray food and immediately going to the bathroom once complete for a thorough check. It’s one reason I rarely eat popcorn or most forms of pasta (those with garlic) on dates.

Ooh, bad breath is a no-no. I’m obsessed with my breath and teeth, so if by some unfortunate circumstance I don’t have gum and I feel my breath is not on point, a peck on the cheek will have to do. I’d compensate for the kiss by giving my date the best hug he’s ever had…but no kiss.

LOL yes bad breath is a deal breaker. That is why I keeps me some Tic tacs or Altoids in my bag.
And first dates SUCK!

Mints. Always. Keep ‘em on hand and offer up after every meal. Hell, even after coffee. Coffee breath is stank too. If you were unsure, you should’ve just stuck with a kiss on the cheek and came prepared for date #2.
