I don’t know how true this is for other women, but I have a tendency to decide whether or not I’d sleep with a guy not long after meeting him. Then placing him in the Yes, No or Perhaps category. That doesn’t necessarily mean that I have an interest in taking it there. Its just one of those “hmm, I wonder” kinda things. And the Yes Box doesn’t make the guy a shoe~in, lol. Because the moment he says/does something to turn me off, into the No he goes. Again, that doesn’t mean “I was going to sleep with you, now I’m not”…Its more of a, “I no longer consider you a candidate”.

Anywho…The whole one~night~stand thing seems rather reckless to me these days. I wouldn’t do it. My well~being is much more important than sexual gratification.

Been there, done that with the 1-night stands. I’m not a huge proponent of it, but sometimes a girl just needs it. Especially if you’ve been single for a while, sometimes you just need to feel some sort of closeness with someone, even though you know it’s fake (remember Whitney in Waiting to Exhale?). Or, you’ve just been sippin too much of the syrup. LOL But seriously, sometimes the chemistry can just be overwhelming. I’ve had 3 in my life, and 2 (My ex-fiance and a past boyfriend) turned out to be much more than that. It’s all in how you go about it, I guess.

Yeah I think many of us have been there and done that when it comes to the one night stand. The problem with that nowadays is the safety of it all. It’s so dangerous out here right now. And that’s not just with the 178,654 sexually transmitted diseases that can make your private parts fall off in the toilet, but let’s not overlook the most dangerous part of the one-night stand…the fact that you may sleep with a crazy,, and not be able to get rid of them…lol
