Is It Jealousy?
Dear Fly Guy,
I hope this message gets to you. I’m having a real problem with my girlfriend, and I’m hoping you can help. I’m not a jealous man at all, but I do have a problem with her letting other men buy her drinks when she goes to the club with her girlfriends. She says that I’m over reacting but I don’t think so. What do you think?

Don’t worry, I actually have your back on this one. I believe that anyone in a committed relationship should respect the feelings of the other person. What she’s doing may very well be innocent, but the appearance of it is what’s key. How would she feel if you were letting a woman at your job bring you lunch every day? I can hear the women now saying that’s like comparing apples and oranges, but it’s still all fruit if you ask me. How about this…next time she goes out with her girls, give her an allowance. That way, when a man comes up and offers to buy her a drink, she can look him dead in the eye and say” No thank you, my man already bought it for me.” Hope this helps.
